This is how Alicia Sarrió was born. A love story transformed into bags.

I have always been passionate about fashion, over the years IF have developed my own style of dressing, a very personal style characterized above all by fun with color. I love wearing vibrant colors that I use in my daily life to accompany the experiences that today brings me, and above all to nourish and enrich my mood.

From a very young age I have seen my mother sew and make all kinds of crafts with her hands, I have accompanied her countless times to buy fabrics, lace, buttons and more, from there I carry this creative gift.

One day I passed by the round square in Valencia and bought some beautiful bobbin lace to attach to a palm bag for the beach, it was my first work.

Later I made others using long fringes because I have the Andalusian influence in my veins, I owe this to my father and from that precise moment I knew that I was going to have a long-term relationship with woven bags and fashion and I discovered that what I really wanted was to create.

Another of my great passions is traveling, I learn a lot from every trip I make, other cultures, ways of living, philosophies of life, and of course, I get carried away walking its streets and getting lost in them discovering crafts that I try to acquire and be able to use them as very special pieces for my bags.

So, on a weekend with friends, laughing and so on, “Creating with soul” arose, a creative space where I shaped my woven bags and ideas, combining my passion for fashion and the craftsmanship of each piece in which I use materials. that I have been acquiring throughout my travels so that each piece is unique and tells a little of the story lived.

“Creating with soul” has brought me a lot of satisfaction, it has been for me a wonderful relationship of love for many years with each work done and my driving force to pursue a dream, that of being a designer. However, today after much deliberation I give way to a new brand “Alicia Sarrió original Bags”.

It is a new, somewhat particular company formed by two partners; one is my mother Mari Carmen Sarrió who inspires me from heaven, she has been and will be my great reference, mentor and teacher, and on the other hand, Alicia Villanueva who I will act and create from the earth.

This new company is dedicated to all the women in my family lineage who for some reason could not achieve their dreams, every achievement, every success obtained will be dedicated to all of them from the depths of my heart and to all those women on this planet who cannot They were able to achieve their dreams.

It is a milestone in the empowerment of women and an example of attitude, believing in oneself, perseverance and confirmation that it is never too late to achieve your dreams, you just have to try with all your might. .
