Alicia Sarrió dazzles on top of the Catwalk. Fashion surrenders to the charm of it.

It was a summer day, July 1, 2023 to be exact, but it wasn't going to be just any day...

Benidorm was dressed up to celebrate the VI Edition of the most important swimwear catwalk in the Iberian Peninsula, and there I was, behind the scenes, where the staging of my collection was taking place. It was a moment of madness, but also a magical moment, I was walking around Backstage surrounded by models, fashion designers, photographers, stylists and an endless number of woven bags that were the result of months of work that I was going to present that night for the first time on a fashion catwalk and not just any one, but on the consecrated MFB, the national catwalk that rewards the most talented swimwear designers in the country and in which well-known brands from the national and international scene also paraded.

That July 1st I had the opportunity to present my collections at the beginning and at the end of the gala with two fashion brands; a national soon-to-fashion one called M47 and another international swimwear fashion one known as Fabiana Thorres.

What a thrill to see my woven bags on the catwalk! I will never forget that moment, it was something very special, something wonderful, something truly unique.

That day I presented samples inspired by the Mediterranean, exclusive handmade designs, full of color, textures, magic. My great passion for fashion, design and color made me create this collection of woven bags, taking maximum care of even the smallest detail, nothing could go wrong. All said and done, it was a complete success and I thank the universe for it.

More than two months preparing everything, working closely with the designers and the organization so that everything turned out perfect. What nerves, what a responsibility, but at the same time what a more comforting feeling, to see that your work is applauded by both the audience and the specialized fashion press.

It was a summer day, July 1, 2023, but it was not just another day, it was the beginning of a new stage in my professional life.
It was a  “see you always Creating with Soul” and at the same time a “Welcome Alicia Sarrió”…
